Instructions to take the New York Class A/B Operator Training
Since UST Training is not yet approved in New York, we recommend you take the free online exam provided by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation. It is strongly advisable you download and print the study guide provided in the course.
Here are the steps.
- Go to http://www.dec.ny.gov/about/101500.html and Download the Operator Training Guide (Tank IQ)
- Click Create a New Account.
- Once inside your account, in your User Dashboard click on the Class A/B Operator and not Class A only or Class B only. From there you will be ready to take the exam.
- Once completed, follow your company procedure for submitting a copy of your certificate of completion.
