Basics:
North Carolina DEQ adopted operator training rules in 2010 similar to EPA guidelines, except NC combines Class A and B operators into one category, called “Primary Operator” who is trained by a state inspector at the next inspection.

The North Carolina DEQ provides free online training for Primary Operators.
Class C:
Our North Carolina Class C online course is available and UST Training certifies that this training meets the minimum state requirements. NC calls the Class C operator the “Emergency Response Operator.”
