    1. Ben Thomas says:

      Plus a hacked ATG :0

  2. Marie Anese says:

    T1

  3. Mickey says:

No such thing as 0.00 water (T2) if it’s regular fuel. Ethanol could make it zero.
Or the tank could be tilted (away from the sensor).

    1. Ben Thomas says:

The bigger concern is the hacker who is potentially damaging equipment or mis-programming critical items

  4. Charmaine Caneda says:

The “Hacked by” is concerning to me!

    1. Ben Thomas says:

Big time, eh? Make sure your ATG does not have direct connection to the Internet without some sort of protective interface.

  5. Niquole Abram says:

Hacker stands out to me first.

    The person hacking into it?

    1. Ben Thomas says:

Absolutely! Be safe with your ATG

  7. JASHU says:

    T-2 WATER TO HIGH

    1. Ben Thomas says:

Thanks Jashu. Actually, what’s more important is the signature left behind by the tank monitor hacker!

  8. JASHU says:

    T-1 WATER TO HIGH

  9. Bipin Shrestha says:

I didn’t get this how its hacked could you explain it please

    1. Ben Thomas says:

Hi Bipin. Your automatic tank gauges hooked up to the Internet and you don’t have sufficient firewall protection. It’s quite easy.

  10. Greg says:

I understand the “Hacked by”, but I would like to know about the high water? What would cause this?

We get this at least 3 times a month in our gasoline tank (an above ground 12k, Sentinel 3000, and TLS-350).

    1. Ben Thomas says:

Hi Greg. Water can be coming into the system a few ways. If you receive ethanol gasoline, you might be experiencing phase separation where the ethanol cannot absorb any more water and the excess water drops to the bottom of the tank. Usually with an underground tank, it’s easier for rainwater/surface water to puddle around tank top openings and drain into the tank. With an above ground storage tank it seems less likely in might be due to rain water. Whenever possible make sure to remove all water from the bottom of your tank.

  11. Amanda Nelson says:

Definitely getting hacked as well as there’s
