National Tanks Conference Moved to September 2021

May 11, 2020

(Sad but glad. See you in 2021)
NEIWPCC’s top priority is the health and safety of our colleagues, partners, and the community. After conferring with our partners at EPA OUST and ASTSWMO, NEIWPCC has made the difficult decision to not hold the 27th National Tanks Conference in 2020. Due to restrictions on travel and large gatherings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are confident that this is the right decision. At this time, we are moving forward with plans to hold the conference on September 21-23, 2021, at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pre-conference workshops will be held on September 20, 2021.

We are incredibly grateful to those who have been preparing for this conference. In particular, NEIWPCC would like to thank those of you who submitted an abstract to be considered for the program. Please note that we plan to keep all submitted abstracts in consideration for the next conference. We would also like to thank our state, tribal, and federal partners on the NTC Planning Team, who have been working diligently to plan a high quality program for the conference. We look forward to working with you to plan the 2021 NTC.
In the meantime, NEIWPCC is working with our partners to determine the best approach for building off of our collective effort up to this point. We are happy to share that we will be offering a series of webinars in 2020 based on the themes planned for this year’s now-postponed conference. Stay tuned for details.
