Connecticut UST Operator Training Rules - UST Training

Status:
Rules Adopted.

Basics:
Connecticut DEEP has adopted UST operator training rules similar to Federal UST guidelines. Some differences: Class A/B operators must get certification through the International Code Council (ICC) though reciprocity by another New England state is acceptable. All training certifications expire and must be renewed every two years.  The CT DEEP has a handy FAQs page to answer more questions. Proof of training unfortunately must be submitted hard-copy; electronic copies are not allowed.

Class A/B:
Connecticut approved third party training vendors. Our Connecticut Class A/B UST operator training course is being developed for approval in 2019. Stop by for updates.

Class C:
Our Connecticut Class C online course is approved by the Connecticut DEEP. All training certifications expire and must be renewed every two years. If you’re coming back for a refresher here’s how you do it in your account.
