The Veeder Root TLS 450 PLUS is a new automatic tank guage. You can tell it apart from the TLS 350 because it’s black, and it has a touch screen.
There is a menu bar with blue buttons on the left. There’s a status bar at the top. If the status bar is green, that’s good, it means all functions normal. It should say 0 Warnings(s) and 0 Alarm(s). There’s a time-date stamp in the upper right.
The most important new feature is the fact that you can see an overview of your UST system. In this case, we can see this facility has 5 tanks, we can see how much fuel is in each tank, and they’re labeled by color as to what product they have.
Operators can now be much more familiar with what they have in the ground, how big the tanks are, and how much fuel there is.
