UST tank system information Veeder Root TLS-450 PLUS

March 1, 2020

Here’s how to get important information about how many tanks you have and what type of product is in each tank.

In this example, you’ll see we have 5 tanks, each one is color-coded, they’re numbered, and labeled, so you can tell which tank is which.

You can tap the arrow to the right of each tank to see details. The General tab shows:

  • Volume
  • Ullage (empty air space at the top of the tank)
  • Height of the fuel
  • Water (if it exists)
  • Temperature of the fuel
  • Capacity
  • Diameter of the tank

Under the Limits tab, you can program to have certain alarms activate at certain levels, for the following:

  • Maximum Volume (gallons)
  • High Product (%)
  • Overfill (%)
  • Delivery Needed (%)
  • Low Product (gallons)
  • High Water Alarm (inches)
  • High Water Warning (inches)

If the tanks are manifolded (two or more tanks connected), there’s a Manifold tab. In this case, tanks 1 and 2 are manifolded together, labeled Master and Secondary.
