ATG Veeder-Root TLS-350 Functions

November 8, 2011

Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. Today we’re going to talk about the Veeder-Root TLS-350, do you know what your Veeder-Root TLS-350 can do not everybody does and each one is a little bit different. It kind of depends on your unique underground storage tank system. If you come to the system and when it says all functions normal click on the “function” button and we’ll notice a couple of functions the tank gauge can do. This can give us in-tank inventory, this can give us a shift-inventory from the last shift this can do an in-tank test result reading so we can see if the tank past the leak test. This particular monitor is set up with CSLD if you’re a reader root owner and it says CSLD then you are doing continuous statistical leak detection so you can get test results that way. Another function is liquid status you see liquid status on your Veeder-Root that means there is an interstitial sensor somewhere in the system and you have interstitial double wall material. Another function you can actually start a leak test if you are concerned there might be a leak, you can stop a leak test and then we’re back to all functions normal so again with a Veeder-Root TLS-350 you hit the function button that’ll tell you exactly what’s in your underground storage tank system. Each one can be a little bit different. This is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this has been a tank savvy minute.
