Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. Sometimes we ask operators do you have double wall tanks or double wall piping oftentimes the operators not sure here’s a little trick. If you’ve got a Veeder-Root TLS-350 and you go to it and it says all functions normal and you hit the function button a couple times, you’ll notice it says liquid status, if it never says liquid status in the function, you do not have double wall interstitial with sensors but this tells me there’s probably double wall sensors somewhere in the system and says hit step I go to step I noticed there is L1 L2 L3 L4 and L5. It cycles all the way back to L1 this tells me there’s five interstitial sensors somewhere in the system they’re all called tank one sump sensors I’m going to guess that they’re double wall piping with interstitial sump sensors and they’re all in normal condition. I hit print and now not only do I prove I have a sensor, but all functions are normal there is no problem in the interstitial space there you go it’s that easy.
