Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. Today we’re going to talk about the automatic tank gauge. We’re here at a typical convenience store, and if you follow me into the back room here you’ll notice we’re seeing the tank gauge, the ATG, the Veeder-Root, the tank monitor it goes by a number of different names this particular one is the Veeder-Root TLS-350. This is a common tank monitor, a couple things you are going to notice right off the bat here, the good news is it says “all functions normal” that means there’s no alarms, no concerns, no warnings going on. I’m also noticing it has power, that’s good. The keypads appear to be in good shape and this particular automatic tank gauge system has a printer. So common pieces again of a tank gauge are the LED readout, the keypads, the warning lights and the printer. We also notice this is a Veeder-Root TLS-350 and things look in pretty good shape here.
