Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. Today we’re going to talk about the keypads of a Veeder-Root TLS-350. Many UST owners and operators are not really comfortable with knowing what the tank gauge can do I wanted to give you a brief introduction about what this thing does. You’ll notice right off the bat here there is a test alarm button, that does a couple things that tells us the audio alarm works it also gives us a readout of what is on the system. This particular system says all functions normal this particular tank gauge also has a print button and so whatever you see on the tank monitor readout you hit print, and you’ll notice here you get a copy of that. So, the print button you always use when you want to print out what you see on the readout there. Another important feature is the mode feature Veeder-Root TLS-350s have three modes. Normal operating mode, setup mode you never want to get into there because you can change the settings of your tank gauge and diagnostic mode. The third mode allows you to get alarm histories and things, you always want to leave your system in all functions normal mode. There is also a function button and as you learned in a previous lesson the function button to tell you what the tank gauge is capable of doing. Again you always want to come back to all functions normal when you leave the tank gauge. Those are some of the basic buttons there’s a whole bunch more if you have a basic understanding and are comfortable those you will be a better UST operator. This is Ben Thomas with the UST training, this has been a tank savvy minute you.
