ATG Veeder-Root TLS-350 Leak Test

November 8, 2011

Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. You have an underground storage tank, automatic tank gauge. This is a Veeder-Root TLS 350. One of the principal jobs it does is tell us whether or not the tank is leaking, whether it’s leaking more than two tenths of a gallon per hour it says all functions normal how do we get the last test result. If you go to the “normal” operating mode and hit function a couple times, this one actually says CSLD test results that stands for “continuous statistical leak detection”. If we hit “step” you’ll see here September 8th, T1 unleaded pass, T2 super pass, T3 plus pass, T4 diesel pass, T5 biodiesel pass, were pretty confident that this automatic tank gauge is showing that the underground storage tank with five UST’s is not leaking or not leaking above the leak detection threshold of 0.2 gallons per hour. This is Ben Thomas with UST training this has been a tank savvy minute.
