EVO 550 – Finding Electronic Line Leak Detectors

February 5, 2018

Hi, this is Ben Thomas with the UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. If you have an Evo 550 by franklin fueling system and you want to know, do we have a mechanical or an electronic line leak detector. That’s a common question I ask in class. You have a submersible turbine pump, the device that looks for leaks. If you have a mechanical or an electronic one. One way to tell is to go the quick jump button and start scrolling through the menus here. If there was an electronic line leak detector you would have a button here that says lines. I’m not seeing one here so by default we must have a mechanical line leak detector. They’re both good devices mechanically leak detectors aren’t programmed to communicate with the Franklin box, the electronic line link detectors are. At this particular site, no electronic line leak detector. It’s good to know which one you have. This is Ben Thomas with UST training, this has been a tank savvy minute.
