EVO 550 – Understanding Inventory Readings

Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. As a UST operator it’s important to know how much fuel is in each one of your underground storage tanks but it’s a little bit more complicated than that. Although it’s easy to find on this Evo 550 by Franklin fueling system. If you click on the button up here and click on tanks and you select a particular tank here are some important information that UST operators should know. Gross volume 1,518.3 gallons net volume is 1,519.5 gallons. Net volume is the volume of the fuel filter fuel was 60 degrees Fahrenheit. You’ve got 35 inches of product you got 4,280 gallons of ullage or ullage, that’s empty space. You’ve got 4.4 total gallons of water measuring at .68 inches and the fuel is 58.68 Fahrenheit degrees this is important information.
