Franklin EVO 550/600: Overview and Features

October 23, 2024

Hi this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. If you are the owner operator of an EVO 550 or 600 by Franklin fueling systems, it’s important to know what you’re looking at when you go into the back room and check out the screen. I’m seeing some basic things I might need print inventory report, print regulatory report, print delivery report, print tank test report. Those are important kind of snapshot things but what’s I think more important is that there is a menu that brings us deeper into all sorts of things that the tank monitor is following there is a tank button that shows you how many tanks you got what conditions they are how much fuel there is there’s a there’s also a feature you can look at the lines the pressurized lines from the tank to the dispenser and if you have double wall interstitial tank and piping you’ve got a sensor button as well. Scrolling across you can get information about the pumps the submersible turbine pumps that are inside the tank. Reports is a feature that can allow you to look at some of the business operations and the basic functionality of your tank gauge system. Compliance is an important button because that’s the stuff the inspector is going to want to see to make sure you’re doing all your leak detection properly. Alarms button is another important one you can look at the alarm history and alarm conditions utilities button that’s the one you want to stay out of this is the domain of the service provider when they’re going and doing programming for the system. Whenever you are finished, you’re query with your Evo 550 or 600 hit the home button we’re back to home base. This is Ben Thomas with UST training this has been a tank savvy minute.
