This month I’m putting the UST spotlight on a person rather a company, state or trade association. And that person is Larry Gregory of Snoqualmie, WA. Since Larry moved back to the Seattle-area we’ve gotten together a few times to talk tanks. Larry is a quiet and humble guy on the surface but he’s not your typical UST professional.
He was a global engineering advisor and a fuel system engineer for Exxon Mobil for 38 years and has probably designed, inspected, and troubleshot more gas stations around the planet than anyone I know. His nearly four decades in the field have given him a rich knowledge and understanding about what works and what doesn’t work in keeping fuel inside the walls of a UST system.
Larry’s soft spoken but he doesn’t mince words. If he thinks something is good for USTs and the environment he’ll let you know. If not….
