Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. I’m here in Phoenix Arizona at the National Underground storage tank conference and I have the pleasure to have with me Caroline Hoskinson the director and chief UST regulator of underground storage tanks in the United States. Today’s tank savvy minute is about the new regulations Caroline what can you tell us about the new regulations. Well, we are so excited to finally have the new regulations out for the first time since 1988. We’ve been hoping to get these regs out because we really believe that our focus on operation and maintenance is going to make a big difference and a lot fewer releases out into the environment which is ultimately why we’re all here. I really hope that everyone will go to our website and read all the supporting documents and the guidance we put out to help everybody understand and I want to thank people like Ben who put on training classes and help people understand the new regs and I really look forward to folks calling us and visiting us in the office of under around storage tanks. If you have any questions or ideas what we can do to help the regulations be more effective and we look forward to them rolling out as over time over the next couple years and seeing what a difference will make in the environment.
