Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training this is a tank savvy minute. We’re here today at a gas station and we’re going to look at something that’s called a UDC, an Under Dispenser Containment sump. This sump here is a large bucket underneath the dispenser if there’s a leak or a spill that happens inside the piping it’ll drop into the containment sump and it’ll be found by this sensor. You’ll pull this guy out here this is a sump sensor and if liquid were to come in contact with it, they would raise the float trigger the alarm and let the operator know there was a problem. So, this is what’s called a under dispenser containment sump sensor. I particularly like this one it’s in a little fiberglass tube here to make sure it doesn’t rattle around or get knocked over or whatnot. So, this is what I call a really nice setup here.
