Hi, this is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this is a tank savvy minute. Let’s learn about the emergency shut off switch. You probably notice one every time you go and fill up your vehicle, this particular one here is a little red box that is to kill power to the dispenser. If you were to be standing here fueling up and you were to see a large spill or a fire or an accident this thing would actually, if tripped would shut down power to the dispenser therefore if there was a fire or an accident you would keep on spilling fuel onto the ground. This one is properly located by the door, it’s properly identified and there’s even a little incident steps here about what to do in the event of a problem. Emergency shut off switch kills power to the pump and shuts down a potential hazardous situation. This is Ben Thomas with UST training, and this has been a tank savvy minute.
