Delaware Class A/B Training Now Available Online
UST Training is excited to announce we are the first online vendor for Class A/B UST operator training approved in Delaware by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (NREC).
The Delaware NREC has moved away from providing live classroom-style courses and is approving third party vendors. Like us.

Class A/B in Hindi Now Available in Texas
Another first in the world of UST Training: We are excited to announce we have launched the nation’s first Class A/B UST Operator Training course narrated in Hindi for our Hindi-speaking Texas UST Operators.
We recognize the landscape of convenience store operators has changed over the past decade and many of our customers come from diverse backgrounds and speak a growing number of languages. So it makes sense to offer our nationally recognized course in a language that is common to the सुविधा की दुकान (convenience store) world.
We’ve teamed up with Javed Surani, President of Your Environmental Specialist in Beaumont Texas, who helped translate the course into Hindi. Javed’s father, Jalaluddin, who is a convenience store operator, provided the voice talent.

New Indian Country UST Inspection Video Now Available

Nebraska 5 Year Class A/B Refresher Due in 2020
IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of October 15, 2020, the revised Nebraska UST rules have not yet been adopted. We are working closely with the State Fire Marshal’s Office and have updated our slides to meet the new rules but we cannot publish the new slides until the rules are final. The moment we know the new rules are finalized, and we have approved from the Fire Marshal, we will make the new course available.
Hello Nebraska Class A/B UST Operators. We wanted to let you a few important things about your 5-year certification.
- In 2020, you must renew if you got certified in 2015, which should be many/most of you.
- You will automatically get a reminder notice from us.
- Nebraska has developed new UST rules to match Federal EPA requirements, which include some new testing and inspecting requirements.
- We’ve revised our course to include the new rules and sent to the Nebraska State Fire Marshal for review. But,
- The new Nebraska UST rules have not yet been adopted or made official. So,
- Once the new rules get adopted, we hope to get our revised Class A/B course approved ASAP before you need to renew so you get trained on the new rules.

Oregon Deadline Coming Up
This just in from the Oregon DEQ…
New UST Rules in Effect October 1!
Remember that starting October, 1 the new UST Rules changes take effect. Regulated USTs are subject to additional testing requirements, and emergency generator USTs are no longer exempt from release detection requirements.

DEQ encourages owners and permittees to take the necessary steps to comply with the new requirements now. All requirements be- come enforceable on October 1st. This means that, in order to remain compliant with UST statutes, and avoid the possibility of financial penalties, you must complete all required testing on or before October 1st.

How long does it take?
Class C training can be done in about 30 minutes. Class A/B takes a bit longer: about 3 hours.
Do I automatically get certified?
Yes, once you pass the final exam (80% or better) you can print your certificate of completion.
Are the course approved?
Our Class A/B course is approved by the ADEQ and our Class C course meets all the ADEQ requirements.
Can I train as many people as I like?
ADEQ wants everyone trained equally so ideally you should train at least one Class A/B and all Class C’s per individual UST location.
